Activities that draw from a connected source can trace their factual claims to a real, public source — useful for curriculum review, accreditation, and trust in an AI-generated tool. A Data source line on each such activity names the source, record ID, and retrieval date, so you can verify the data the way you'd verify any cited reference.
When an activity draws from a connected source, they learn from real scientific, historical, and government records — the same protein structures researchers use, the same bills actually before Congress, the same technical reports NASA engineers wrote — not simulated or invented facts. The data is the same data a professional in the field would consult.
Without an institutional review process backing you up, confidence in curriculum accuracy matters even more. Real, sourced data means you can verify every factual claim the same way a school district would — and demonstrate that rigor to co-ops, portfolio reviewers, or any records you need to keep.
